Facebook Account Deleted

I, like many other people, have grown tired of Facebook’s disregard for people’s privacy.  Therefore, I have deleted my account.  I can still be found on Twitter @jstevison.  Hopefully they won’t screw up like Facebook.

This story is so sad. Gizmodo helps damage a career.

Congratulations Gizmodo, I’m pretty sure you have managed to ruin a persons career.  Did you really need to pay that money and reveal the persons name who lost the phone?

Here is a story over on AppleInsider explaining how the poor guy that lost the 4G iPhone frantically searched for it while the person who “found” it did not notify the bar management or the police department.  They did manage to notify Engadget and Gizomodo though.

I have the coolest mother

So, why do I have the coolest mother on the planet? Well, my 71 year old mother has an iPhone and loves it.  She only video chats with me on her MacBook Pro, no more boring old telephone calls with voice only.  She has a 3G 64GB iPad on order and can’t wait to get her hands on it, and if that’s not enough she has gone back to college.

Maybe this is a geek things but all that adds up to a really cool mother.

Love you mother!

Apple iPad

I’m still patiently awaiting the shipment of my 3G iPad.  I’m planning on trying to create a documentation tool for the Zend Framework that will allow you to view and manipulate the documentation provided on the Zend Framework documentation website.  Not sure how it will turn out but am excited to start the project.
